The Hocus Pocus cast members Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, popularly known as the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus, will reunite for Halloween. They announced their union and said that it is for a good cause.
The stars rose to fame after their 1993 movie Hocus Pocus. The movie was also about Halloween, which is why the significance is much. The three of them are going to come together for a virtual event and call it “In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover.”
Hocus Pocus cast members to celebrate Hulaween Takeover virtually
The event will happen on October 30, which also marks one day before we celebrate Halloween. Since we are amidst a pandemic, many celebrities are hosting virtual events. This time they will replace the Midler’s yearly star-studded costume event like all other years. However, it will be online, and everyone gets to celebrate virtually. Like every year, the cause will help New York Restoration Project. All the funds raised will go to the organization. According to an official statement, the restoration project is working towards social and environmental justice.
Bette Midler founded NYRP in the year 1995 and pledged to make the city greener. As given in the project’s official website, they plant trees, restore parks and gardens every year. They focus on maintaining a healthy environment for people living in a city crowded with the least green neighborhood.
As Hulaween Takeover 2020 will be a virtual event, everyone can be a part of it. People of all ages can experience the real magic of Sanderson Sisters. People who love the film can expect the ladies to reprise into their classic characters with costumes.
Apart from the live event, people who love Halloween can be a part of the Sanderson Sisters Charm School online and buy limited merchandise.
You can log onto www.nyrp.org and buy the tickets worth $10 and be a part of this exciting event.
